It is her first year with Pro Coro Canada and she loves being on stage and currently sings in Ariose Women's Choir, Madrigal Singers, and recently made her debut as a member of the Edmonton Opera Chorus. She is excited about her upcoming role as Ruth in U of A's opera workshop production of Pirates of Penzance in March. A funny moment in rehearsal: Rehearsals, in general, have really been a lot of fun, but having us 7 sopranos trying to figure out our body percussion for Andrea Ramsey's Stomp on The Fire has been hilarious. Most memorable choral experience ever: In my first year at the Concordia University of Edmonton, we were invited to perform at the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra's Night at the Proms. I had only ever had one other concert at the Winspear, and that one was quite a serious show. So when we arrived to do the Proms, imagine my surprise when some of the choristers were in costume, and Conductors Alexander Prior, and Cosette Valdez, were playing duck sounds. It was so much fun.
