Introducing our musical exploration of choral music from a particular corner of the world, we first direct our attention to the Germanic language and culture. Guest conductor Markus Utz will provide an intimate approach to the choral world of Heinrich von Herzogenberg, Anton Webern, Arnold Schönberg and Paul Hindemith, and will introduce us to the music of German-Swiss Adolf Busch. A specialist in German language choral works, Utz’s sensitive, subtle and distinctive interpretations have made him one of the top choral directors in Europe.

Supported by the Wirth Institute for Austrian and Eastern European Studies.

Venue: All Saints`Anglican Cathedral (10035 - 103 St. NW, Edmonton)

Price: $30 Adult | $25 Senior/Student ($35/$30 at the door)
