Good Friday @ the Winspear (2019)

Good Friday 2019

The Good Friday concert at the Winspear centre has been a tradition for decades. Joined by the Da Camera Singers (director John Brough) and fifteen wind players, we will perform the magnificent Mass in E-minor by Anton Bruckner. This feature-length work from 1882 has been called a “romantic symphony with liturgical text” and is without parallel in the church music of the 19th century. Also on the program is a newly-composed work for Good Friday by our composer-in-residence Uģis Prauliņš.

Venue: Winspear Centre for Music (4 Sir Winston Churchill Square NW, Edmonton)

Tickets: (day-of door tickets +$5)
Orchestra - $40 Adult, $36 Senior/Student
Terrace - $46 Adult, $42 Senior/Student
